Dr. Chris Taylor, MBBS, DA DRCOG - Senior Partner
Dr Taylor trained at St Thomas’ Hospital and qualified in 1974.
He joined Haslemere in 1980 and has been Senior Partner since 1998.
His interests in the Practice include running the Diabetic Clinic and
Rehabilitative Medicine in the Godwin Unit based at Haslemere Hospital.
Dr. Mark Hurst, MBBS, MRCS, LRCP
Dr Hurst trained at Charing Cross Hospital and qualified in 1977.
He joined Haslemere in 1982 and became Associate Medical
Director Guildford and Waverley PCT in 2005
Dr. Jeremy Cornish, MBBS, MRCS, LRCP, DRCOG, DFFP
Dr Cornish trained at St. Thomas' Hospital and qualified in 1975.
He joined the practice in 1982.
His interests in the practice include Diabetes, Respiratory disease and
the Practice Computer system.
Dr. Sarah Whitaker, MBBS
Dr Whitaker trained at The London Hospital Medical College and qualified in 1980.
She joined the practice in 1990 and works part-time.
Her interests include looking after a residential home.
Dr. Marcus Panchaud, MBBS, DRCOG, MRCGP
Dr Panchaud trained at Charing Cross Hospital and qualified in 1987.
He joined the practice in 1991.
He is a GP Trainer with the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery Scheme.
He also has interests in prescribing and the practice formulary and hypertension.
Dr. Melanie Cant, MBBS, DCH, DRCOG, FPCert, MRCGP
Dr Cant trained at St. George's Hospital and qualified in 1987.
She works as a full-time partner split between Haslemere Health Centre and the
Fernhurst Branch Surgery. She is a true “Generalist", liking all aspects of Clinical
Practice, as well as some administrative tasks and audit.
Dr. Phil Ridsdill Smith MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH, DFFP
Dr Ridsdill Smith trained at Guy's Hospital and qualified in 1993.
He joined the practice in December 1998.
His particular interests include stroke and epilepsy and practice and hospital development.
He is also involved in running the Godwin Unit at Haslemere Hospital.
Dr. Nolan Geeves BM DRCOG DFFP MRCGP
Dr Geeves trained at Southampton and qualified in 1995.
He joined the Practice in April 2000.
He is based mainly at the branch surgery in Fernhurst but holds some surgeries at Haslemere.
He is the Coronary Heart Disease lead for the practice and is also one of the practice team responsible for the
Godwin Unit at Haslemere Hospital.
